SCHOOL COMMUNITY GROUPSSchool Community groups have traditionally had pride of place in supporting Warnbro Primary School's curriculum and facilities programs. However, the key to these groups has been the inclusive culture and connection between people that these groups have created. This tradition continues. You are invited to become a member of one or all of our friendly, energetic and supportive groups. The P&C is one of the best ways to be involved in the community life of the school. As well as the main P&C Committee, several subcommittees support the school’s ability to provide “extras” for the students. There is a craft group; a canteen group; the uniform group and the parent morning coffee group. If you are interested in any of these groups please contact the P&C President , Mrs Helen Filipek on the school’s number. Some good reasons for joining the P&C include: to meet people and make new friends enhancing self esteem through meaningful work and achievements to gain information and skills to encourage parents to participate in developing the school's educational policy develop parent participation and involvement in the school be the forum for parents to discuss issues pertaining to the school and its community and for gathering opinions Promote and support communication and co-operation within the school community and to bring educational matters to the attentin of gthe wider community
If you are interested in the P&C we meet on the third Wednesday of every month in the school staffroom at 7pm. Visitors are always welcome. Our P&C Secretary Mrs Kathy Dickson can be contacted through school on 9593 2363.
